Hey All,
Does anyone have suggestions for shooting with a non-flicker free HMI ballast? I was on a shoot with one and the goal was to shoot high shutter speed, but I couldn't find anything that would have the rolling banding issue for any shutter speeds over 1/60.
I tried tooling around with the syncro and relative shutter features but nothing really did the trick?
Thoughts? My gut is telling me, the simple answer is to make sure that a flicker free ballast for the HMI is on set for future shoots...
