When looking at the noise spectrum of most cameras, the graph usually rolls off gradually until .5, the result of demosaicing. My understanding is that in-camera denoising causes it to fall even further. Is the fact that at high frequencies, RED cameras aren’t rolling off a sign of in-camera sharpening? And does the steep fall-off below .5 of the Alexa 35 indicate in-camera noise reduction? Thanks!
