I've been having issues with the HDMI out on my Scarlet-X, and then on a shoot this week it seems like finally gave out entirely.
So I switched my 7" DSMC2 touch LCD onto the Scarlet and used my cheap but actually nice Cinemartin on my Epic-W. I also, in the mad scramble while all of this was happening, did a factory reset on the Scarlet in the vain hope that the HDMI issue was a software thing, not just a hardware failure.
Thenn.... later in the day, the Scarlet decided that the LCD needed a firmware update, so did the flashy light thing for a few minutes and the monitor came back, but now without any touch control.
Monitor itself works fine, side buttons work fine, just no touch. Tried on both cameras, direct to the Epic-W, plus with Lemo adapter on both cameras.... nada.
Tried factory resets on both cameras, downgrading firmware, upgrading firmware, all to no avail.
Anyone come across this? I've logged a ticket with support and suspect the answer is a costly and time-consuming trip for the monitor down to Irvine, but wondered if anyone out there has a marvelous solution.
