No interface text in Red Cine?

Haven't found a post with this problem yet. My UI for RedCine 3.12 has no text. See image.

Tried deleting library files and reinstalling. Tried logging in as root user and installing. When I go back to version 0.9 it works fine.. but I can use build 16 footage.

Any ideas?

Check permisions on RedCine folder in Library/

I was thinking font problem too... strange that 0.9 works fine tho. I've checked and re-checked permissions for the RedCine folder in Library/, set all to read & write and applied to enclosed items.

I never get error like this . May be it is font problem , but as i remember RedCine is not insaling any new fonts , it is using same fonts as in OS system. Try to check witj READ TEAM .

I've heard Jim Jannard use the REDCINE interface with no text display and one of these:

I'm having the same problem, and as I recall I had font book remove some corrupt fonts recently. What font does Redcine need?

Yes, it turned out to be some missing fonts. Just used Pacifist to reinstall and now all is good.
