Either my LCD Monitor has stopped working or I have a bad cable, camera port, etc.

Until tonight it has been working fine (I've been using build 15 the last couple of weeks). Powered up the camera tonight and LCD is not operational. Also, I just noticed that I cannot find a way to select the LCD in the menu like I used to. In Monitor/Preview I only see VIDEO [720P], and MENUS [DVI] as options, neither selection seems to make a difference (is this menu the same as Active in previous builds?). Does anybody have any info on the monitor menus? The latest camera documentation (1.8.8) does not seem to match what I'm seeing in build 15 -

Please advise, I have an important shoot this weekend and need to sort this out (someone is flying into town to do tests with the camera).

Really wish I had sprung for a second monitor cable so I could troubleshoot...

I do have video coming out of the hdmi port...

Ok, I just noticed that if I unplug the cable while camera is powered up, I see a very brief flash on the LCD; I'm guessing that the LCD monitor is probably fine and it's the cable or camera port that's defective.

Any tips and/or info is greatly appreciated,

Dennis Wilkins

HELP needed in San Francisco Area!

HELP needed in San Francisco Area!

Red sent me a new cable; I received it a few minutes ago and it doesn't solve the problem. Is there anyone in the San Francisco area available where I could check my LCD out on their camera to see if it's defective so I know whether to send the LCD or the camera body in for repair. I had a friend fly in from LA to shoot with the camera this weekend and we're pretty limited now because of this -

Thanks -
