I transfered my R3D files and qt ref files from a mac hard drive to my pc hard drive and there is no audio when I playback the ref files in quicktime. The movie properties show the soundtrack has audio data but there is no sound on playback or when exported as a wav. Could I have lost the link to the R3D file when I copied it to my pc drive.

Try setting how the tracks are assigned in QT properties. If the audio was out of phase, then the way QT is playing back the audio, it's cancelling each other out.

looking in the av control panel for quicktime and there isn't any audio adjustments highlighted.
not sure what the problem is
any help please

under properties, click on the sound track and then on the audio settings window. Then change the setting there.

Strange
I did that and changed from left to right to mono etc. turned up the levels and still no audio. Is this a pc issue? I don't have acess to a mac at this point to sort it out.
