nMP + External Graphics in RCX/Resolve

Just wanted to know if anyone was running an external graphics box in MacOS with their nMP? And how things fared in RCX/Resolve?

Particularly interested in whether combining a 980Ti with the built-in D700's isn't going to play nice / if an external AMD card would make more sense. Particularly interested for speeding up debayering performance in RCX.

I use to have my ROCKET for this process but of late haven't bothered to hook it up.

I generally work in 4K DCI and my D700 runs fine in Resolve.
