[FS: OPTICS] Nippon Scope Anamorphic 75mm f2 - rear section / Nipponscope

[Mark LaFleur]

This is an extremely rare, rear section for a Nippon Scope Anamorphic lens. These lenses were sold with a single anamorphic lens head, and typically 3 rear spherical sections. This one has a beautiful vintage Schneider Xenon 75mm f2 prime. The optics are in immaculate condition. The iris has about 18 blades, making it perfect for anamorphic shooting, when you want to achieve that perfect oval bokeh when stopped down. If you have a Nippon Scope Anamorphic lens head, this rear section is ready to shoot.

Mechanically: iris opens and closes smoothly. No oil on iris blades.

Optically: Excellent condition. No scratches, no haze, no fungus, no chips. Some very faint cleaning marks.

Cosmetically: Lens is from the 1970s, and shows some signs of use, but overall in excellent condition for its age.
