Nikon Zoom Question

Like everyone says, it depends on your budget. Big budget your going to use cinema lenses. Low budget you now have access to still lenses.

I talked with Evan Grant (our Nikon Guru) and there is a new sticky in the works for specifically still lenses that are RED tested. This is exciting so that we can find out which ones are the gems.

To digress the dolly zoom in Jaws is a classic.

I'm not sure exactly what that sticky will entail but I am testing a full set of cinematized Zeiss ZF lenses next weekend along with the Underthall G mount.

My Nikon 17-55 2.8 zoom holds focus throughout the zoom range. I've used it on an Abel Ferrara shoot and also a shoot for Horizon Blue Cross. I think it's going to be my workhorse lens.
