It has been mentioned that those of us with Nikon glass but who are going to be using the Birger Canon system can, indeed, use this glass with an adapter that fits on the back of the Nikon lenses. There has been some discussion about some of these, but with a lack of real specificity.
I have done a little search, aided by Ken Rockwell, and have found this device:

Does anyone know if this thing really works as advertised? It may or may not be a good deal, but there is quite a sale on it until the end of the year. I am thinking about ordering a couple of things like this to put on the back of my best Nikons (85mm f1.4 AIS; 135mm f2.0 AIS) so that I can use them on the Birger mount (yeah, I know, no autofocus or remote control capabilities, but at least they will work as great, if dumb, glass). Before I take the plunge, I'd like to know if anyone has any other recommendations for these sorts of things.
Thanks much.
