About the 80-200mm...

...both to avoid confusion and to answer REDuser questions, I wish to point out that this particular 80-200mm f/2.8D lens is the AF-S version, which is not to be confused with the regular AF D version. Big difference.

There are many 80-200 f/2.8D Nikons out there, as you can see in Ken Rockwell's summary of 80-200mm models, but this particular one is arguably the best of them all. You can read more about it in Nelson Tan's review.

BTW... this one does have the original Nikon lens hood, but NOT the tripod collar.

Realized I should post a response to the purchase I did with Tico. I got the lensbabies. Absolutely mint, mint, mint condition. He was very honest, great deal and shipped promptly. If I hadn't just bought the 80-200 two weeks earlier I would have bought his 80-200 as well - in fact, actually still tempted to buy his. If you need any of the lenses he's still selling - buy now. Believe me, I've bought too many crappy lenses on ebay that needed major reconditioning. With his, at least from my experience, you hit the ground running.
