1.) Welcome to reduser.net

2.) Really? Your first post is to hype the D90?

3.) Like several other threads, this will probably get moved to Off-Topic.

No disrespect and thanks for sharing. Like the color grade work. But this is a Red forum focusing on their offerings.

sorry thought this was the D90 post.. I am waiting to buy the scarlett. I bought the D90 to play with in the mean time... I really want the FF35.. I have a ton of Nikon lenses for it...

I am not hyping the D90.. It is no where near professional enough to use for serious work..

But it is a fun toy...

patiently waiting for mu FF35...

Yes. Don't disturb or piss off the film biz snobs and posers. I just bought one too. It s an awesome toy. Great work. What's your workflow? Very nice stuff.

For the D90 Workflow I use Adobe Premiere Pro cs4 and the Morgan M-jpeg codec. I bought a a Dual Xeon with 12 gigs of ram so when the Scarlettt comes out I can edit in 4k. I downloaded a bunch of clips from Redrelay before they shut done to remodel and I can edit the 4K footage with the 2K settings in real time in Veagas 64 bit. It is a little slower in Premiere.

For color grading I use After Effects and Colorista.

I can not wait for Raw Scarlett footage of my own...

I will be a Video test posting maniac....

Good hearing your Logic there on work flow Erick and I wouldn't even call the D90 a toy when you're considering it for animation or time lapse and preparing your base equipment for a Red or Scarlet... I'm playing with a Lumix Z28 for now and checking the data carefully.

Have you run into this LICENSE EXPIRED issue yet with your CS4? It sounds like a night mare and I'm still wondering if the problem will be fixed for on line version upgrades if I buy CS4 now. I really don't want to spend hours dealing with this problem as I hear many CS4 users are...

No license expired problem.. But my main system is not connected to the internet.. I also have CS3 as a back up just in case... The D90 is useful for testing.. But the image does not hold up when I do serious color correction. Plus it has such heavy compression I don't think the Nikon is ready for prime time any time soon.

I am a die hard Red/ Scarlett fan and check this site everyday for any info on release dates...

I heard a ready show the other day that said the 3K scarlett should be coming out by November. I will just have to wait for the FF35...
