Sensor is closer in size to super 35 than the 5d II and is 1080 at 24 fps

D90 video sucks hopefully this one will be better.

Unless they seriously speed up the rolling-shutter in this one, I imagine it's going to be just as limited as the D90 (i.e. you can't take it off the damn tripod).

Anybody have any idea about a release date at all? I mean, lets say this thing is real, whether the specs are spot on or a bit off (ie. 16mp instead of 14, etc.), what would be the release date at this point?

There is no release date Zack, it's vapourware, it doesn't exist. These are just the specs mentioned on an internet rumour site.

Some of the specs are believable, others less so, but until something real is known I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, yeah, but people said the same thing about the D3x not too long ago and look how that turned out. Granted, particularly with cameras, fakes pop up every now and then but the question still remains, "Is it real or isn't it?". Hence the question. But you're right, until something official is announced, it's still considered vaporware. It's just that there are so many rumor sites and other photo message boards across the net, it's hard to keep track of these things. I mean, for all I know, Nikon could announce the D400 next week. But until then, I'm curious as things seemed to have gone quiet about it with no official word that the specs aren't the real deal.
