Price $2400 plus FedEx shipping.
Very lightly used, well maintained, with lens cover and Nikon carry case.
I bought this lens new when I was taking photos of birds but haven't used it in over five years.
A worthwhile accessory to this lens is a 1.4x autofocusing teleconverter, which turns it into a 700 mm f/5.6 lens; to use it you set the approximate focus manually, then depress the shutter to let the AF mechanism do the final focus. It is also available, along with quick release plates and a Wimberly head which works extremely well with this lens. The autoconverter, QR plates, and Wimberly head are not included in this price.
I live in Sedona, AZ. I will not ship outside the US.
