For sale mi personal Nikkor AIS-ED 50-300mm PL mount, (not rental never).
Located on Barcelona Spain.
Lens is 9,8 over 10
Coatings 10 over 10
Optics condition 9,9 over 10: No scratches, haze, fungus, cleaning marks, or dust (only a little particle like a fiver (1,5mm on an edge of the zoom block that do not is on the image light way. is not recomendable to service the lens for it because the performance is 10 over 10)
Mechanical condition 10 over 10.
Stetic condition 9,5 over 10 (is like new but you can see if you loock very accurate one or two little paint marks (2 mm but still black under the mark)
Stainless steel pl conversion, fixed with 6 screws under the rear matte connus, is collimable by adding or removing shims. It is a professional conversion that has modified the rear lens attachamen, (not is only a pl mount screwed).
Lens is collimated.
Lens hold focus while zooming.
Zoom do not shfit while zooming, center point image hold on center all the zooming travel.
(I need to say that zoom do not have fluid mechanism, and so is more dificullt a fluid zooming that with a cine zoom, but zoom is smooth (do not creep)).
This lens is similar sharp as Zeiss 2.1 lenses, very sharp wide open and very very sharp 5.6 to up.
Color rendition totally neutral, match perfect with zeiss primes
Very resistant to flare, yo can work without matte box, but is best with.
Minimal focus distance 2,5m (on 300mm too).
Cover Full frame and so that covers 6k dragon sensor.
This is a very rare lens because had been made very little amount of this conversion, and It is a very coveted lens by naturalist DOP. But do not be confused, this lens gives a lovely cinematic image. Its quality image is miles far away over for example an old angenieux 25-250 or an old cooke 25-250. (I read Panavision mount this glass on some limited edition zooms that they had build years ago, (I am not surprised))
