I saw another member post their pix of their pilot. I'm actually going to be pitching a show to my network and, as part of presentation, I made a "Nike" spec commercial for one of the characters;

Specs;

Scarlet-X
Zeiss Standard Speeds
LED Fancier Lights (1000W 'white', 1000W bicolor, 500W portable)

Thanks guys!! When it was silence I was like, crap, it looks awful and everyone's just being too nice, haha.

Nice lighting, but effects are a bit repetitive - it should build, not be the same gag twice.

Totally agree. I originally was thinking I wanted to make it a little 'cheesy' and over-edited on purpose, for the context of this being within a presentation of how overdone this character is (he's supposed to be this over-exposed, surly player)... but the more I look at it, it's just too much flashing going on. I don't mind the jump-cuts but I need to pull back on the flashes by around 60-70% I think.

The in-camera 'effect' I kinda like was where I was holding the lens in front of the camera (not locked in), doing movements with the lens, front and back, as abstract inserts. But the flashing... way too much.
