Sorry but i am so irritated right now i could rip the head off a horse and leave it in Donald Fehrs bed. I mean what the hell was the point of them compromising to make a deal and then having him table a different deal anyway. Yeah i get that most people don't care and it has nothing to do with camera's, or anything else RED, but i had to vent. Holy Crap winter sucks without hockey up here.

Yep, pretty sure the season will be over by tomorrow if no deal is reached. This is a travesty in so many ways because ultimately the biggest loser in the whole deal are the fans. This leaves a bad taste in their mouth and it's not like it's been a long time since the last lockout. Hockey was on the way up in the sports world. Had the momentum. These guys are too caught up in who's going to get what that they're not even paying attention to the fans. Took me a while to recover from last one, may take even longer with this one. Certainly wont be getting my money for a while. Too bad. It was getting good around here in Boston.

If NHL continues on the present course, pretty soon all best players will end up playing in CHL. It's Russian Continental League. For one, they don't have these periodic work stoppages, they pay much more, than NHL and they feverishly adding teams from around Europe. Right now they are from Russia, Belarus, Czech Republich, Sweden and Ukraine with more to be added. Pretty much all players from those countries signed contracts already with CHL and unlike the last lockout, many stated, that they will not be back to NHL, even if play resumes...

If the NHL would go away the players would go somewhere else and that other league would likely get US TV distribution. We would probably see more games and the players might make better careers for themselves, so screw the NHL.

I would miss the Bruins but if they no longer existed I would have no issue finding someone else to route for.

Yeah, my Kings finally win a Cup, and then this. So much for momentum with a team returning intact and young.

FWIW, not a band-wagoner, my family had season tickets to Kings at the Forum in the Purple-and-Gold days....
