I gotta say I find it pretty cool, but also food for serious thought. I suppose in my lifetime i will see robots in the supermarkets, on the bus, a park bemch maybe. Watching movies - which reminds me .... AI is already writing scrteenplays. really love this Hasselhoff classic ....

Person? Why would it be a person?

I am trying to keep up.

Is Reduser dead? What happened to this place.

Pretty much a sign of the times. All of the film forums I used to frequent are grave-yard quiet now. Even the ones that have been around 20+ years, boasting 100s of posts per day. One of my 'ol faves, though, hasn't had a post in screenwring (my fortay) in over 6 months. Used to very active and high energy, with enough success stories to keep most everyone inspired to stay in the game. Other forums are just empty, with some grumbling going on and not much else. Seems it all just imploded in 2020-ish, or there abouts, give or take. I have not had any writng work in a few years (one, actually, but I could not get paid and had to walk away after a YEAR of writing). Got some cool storyboard work, but nothing else. All of the screenwring forums are dead. Not even a ghost to be seen or heard.

Not to say film is dead. Lot of good stuff coming out, and really well written / acted / directed / filmed / staged, etc.... Seems film work is still out there, but it's locked up in a tight circle of friends / associates, like in the old days when the big film houses ruled the terrain. Indy film made a good dent in that, and many great Indy studios are still doing brilliant work. Just seems the 'abundance' evaporated. I could be wrong here.

I get that the economy sucks pretty much the world over, and this has dampened creativity and ability and access to work. Yet, really good, big-budget films, series and documentaries are still churning out. A lot of junk as well, and it takes some patience surfing to find the gems. Usually ends up worth it.

I had a serious, life-changing injury a few years ago, on top of plugging through the imploding small-fish film biz, but I can still work the keyboard and draw a mean storyboard. I think it's just a wait-it-out kind of thing, and it will flip back. I'm ready.

Fingers crossed
