Couldn't find an existing thread answering these questions, so here goes.
Though I've owned my Epic-X since late spring, the last month really represents my first immersive use of it in connection with shooting on my first film. In reviewing that footage, I'm looking at metadata by right clicking on a clip in REDCINE-X PRO and scrolling through all the fields.
Great stuff in there that is much appreciated, but I don't see any indication of the actual lens used. In most cases, I can either remember outright or derive through factors that are listed (e.g., focal length) which lens was used, but it would be nice to see that information included in metadata. Am I simply missing it somehow? I'm using the Canon Titanium mount, and all I see listed is the mount type and generic lens info, like focal length, focus distance, and f-stop.
Also, though this doesn't apply to any shots I've made yet, will metadata record changes to f-stop, focal length, or focus distance that were made during the course of the ongoing shot, or are only the values of those parameters at the beginning of the clip recorded? If lens metadata is dynamic, how is it linked in time to the the progression of the shot?
