I seem to have got stuck trying to Transcode -> Prores .... and failed to follow the 2012 Export video https://vimeo.com/47204496

... And am trying to sort this before my better half returns!

INPUT
Version : Redcini-X 33 (33.36296)
RRX : Enabled
Input Video : 6k @ 23.98 fps
Computer : Mac Pro (10 core) Yosemite.

DESIRED OUTPUT
Resolution : 1920 X 1080
Quick time / Pro res

PROBLEM
I get down the final 'Export' option ... click the button and nothing happens / nothing in Export window / no files in chosen directory.

Steps:
1) Open RedCini-X -> Find R3D file -> Appears in Browser+Project > Double click -> Click on Play in Viewer -> Plays in the Viewer
2) Click on clip in Brower+Project tab -> Clip selected -> Cmd-E (Export) -> 'Export' window pops up
3) 'Export' Window : File Format = QuickTime. Setup...= Popup window 'QuickTime Settings' appears
4) 'QuickTime Settings' window : <click on Video Button> -> 'Compression Settings' window appears.
5) 'Compression Settings' window : Compression type = Apple ProRess 422 / Frames per second = 23.98 => OK
6) 'QuickTime Settings' : => OK
7) 'Export' Window : Ask for Output Filename -> change to Custom output. Click on 'Output Settings'
8) 'Output Settings' window : Browse -> Select Downloads -> <Choose> => OK
9) 'Output Settings' window : Export

At which point the Export window closes / No CPUs are working / Nothing in the bottom window (Status or Export tabs)

I have tried unchecking the Rocket to see if that has any effect (no)

I am guessing this is an obvious feature of the UI where you have to click on a little square (or a tag that says I promise to never ever suggest that people should be able to delete clips in RedUser ;-)

Maybe this functionality has been lifted&shifted to the Weapon ahead of NAB ;-)

Any help much appreciated.

Did you select "Clip in Viewer" and a valid Preset in the Export dialogue window before hitting Export?

Alternatively select the Export tab bottom left to bring up the Presets panel bottom right.
Select the Preset you just made or Add, Edit, Save a new one with the + and Edit buttons. Make sure that desired Preset is highlighted by clicking on it in the Preset list.
Make sure your desired clip is in the Viewer. Select Clip in Viewer from the drop down options.
Click the Export button bottom right, next to the drop down options.

Thanks Eric - the comment got me trying other combinations :D

The Workflow Bug (or maybe it's a deliberate feature?)

+) If you Export a clip -> using the 'Unnamed Preset'-> NOTHING HAPPENS .. no error message... nada.

+) My 'EXPORTS PRESETS' window was not enabled in the [LOOK/FRAMING/META/ETC] section -> Enabled this -> applied exactly the same setup as I had performed when exporting directly -> Saved this -> Exported Clip again -> Chose this Preset -> and Bingo ... it works.

Suggestion for RED: Unless I am missing something here .. there is a bug in the Export using Unnamed Preset / where the users is expecting that their user configured preset is a Use Case that does not work (and does not produce and error).
