  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

A back injury forces me to sell my gear. This set of lenses was purchased NEW from B&H. They were to be used on a Red One which I was expecting but was forced to cancel. THESE LENSES ARE NEW, IN THEIR BOXES. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN ON ANY CAMERA! (I do not have any Nikon gear) EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED AS DELIVERED BY B&H! THEY ARE ZEISS USA, NOT GRAY MARKET!

about your back injury, i am not a doctor (nor play one on tv), but for a while i thought i was going to have to stop putting a camera on my shoulder and learn to edit. what saved me was swimming. really. now, as long as i swim once or twice a week, i rarely hurt myself, and when i do, it heals a lot quicker. give it a try, you might be shooting again sooner than you think.
 
All sounds too familiar. I crushed a disc and my left leg went numb. I could not walk for a month. Lost all the strength. It looked like end of the road for me. I had a surgery and six weeks after it I am now getting back to normal. Yes, swimming got me back on my feet quick. I swim 1km every day now. Also, walking is good. Exercising abs muscles.

This back situation is new but I have been lugging around anvil cases for over 20 years! At least camera packages have begun to get smaller. The doctor says pamper my back, I am in physical therapy now and hopefully after recovery I will start yoga which is supposed to really help. My dad was a swimmer and never had back problems until his 80s! I just don't have access to a pool right now. Thanks to all for the encouraging words. It's funny to realize that this is a "professional" malady. (misery loves company! LOL biggrin: )

Guys, I just want to say one thing: I've known Daniel for over 10 years and he takes *extremely* good care of his equipment. So if you want the ZF's, buying them from him would be like getting them new.

Jorge, Thanks for the endorsement but a couple of comments, you have not seen these lenses yet, I have not had a chance to take good care of them, they are still new, unused in their boxes! THEY ARE NEW! In the past you have worked with my various Zeiss speeds, vintage Cookes, Angenieux and Canon glass. & BTW, I've known you way over 10 years!

Hi, I assume they sold and the transaction was ok? Of course I hope so, but if not please let me know ASAP as i have a triple booking for these we only have two sets (of all 8 lenses).

If anyone else that has a set for sale, please let us know. We are amazed at how popular they are.. well, not really but they go out more often than any other set. RED, Letus, Redrock, etc.
