  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Zeiss DLP projector: contrast ratio of 2 500 000 : 1

I dunno, the 500,000:1 Samsung LCD 81 series TVs were pretty convincing to me at Best Buy. But if this is a projector, I gotta agree with Glenn here on the issue of light pollution. I'm sure it will look great though..but this whole pick an outrageously high contrast ratio for marketing is getting out of hand now.

But it doesn't stand up to the 1,000,000:1 OLED TV I saw in the Sony Store. ;)

2- Actually it's a bit of a shame with the OLED because it might actually get close to doing very high contrast, but the lighting in the store lands on the TV and kills it.
