  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I've been hearing rumblings of this project....one of my DIT's a couple of weeks worked on this...told me Janusz was an amazing madman to work with. Super fun, very relaxed, and had some strange, small M42 mount anamorphic lenses he was playing with. Not sure what that last part means, but I take it he was bringing "weird glass" with him, which excites me.

Can't wait to see these pieces!!
 
Great stuff - but l love his comment of no money lol he should look at my budgets :-)

My absolute favorite?

Forest's piece... I guess for very personal reasons... But the lines were not only great, his acting was also superb and so was the entire sequence of scenes... BRAVO!!

Nice to see the EPIC doing exactly what it is great at, creating great images.

beautiful and inspiring. I love to see the lighting setups. Check out the BTS.
 
It's so funny how a truly masterful cinematographer can take a great tool like the Epic and take it to another level. Just goes to show there truly is way more to this than the camera. They can make paint drying a joy to watch.
 
Amazing stuff, Janusz has always been one on my favorite cinematographers. I guess Wally Pfister stands as the last of the Mohicans.
