  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hey guys,

We are going to have another get together this month for the NYC Scarlet user group. September 21st at 7:00pm

Again GMD is kind enough to open his studio up to us, so it will be located at the same place it was last time. Everybody is invited to attend even if you didn't attend last time.

Just wanted to add, of course there will be food!
 
We are going to have a white seamless and potentially a model so feel free to bring your camera, or any accessories you wish to share with the group.

Additionally, please feel free to bring recent work! Please be around 5 minutes, and 1080p max resolution. There will be a screen set up.
 
Don't need to RSVP, but it'd be nice if you're coming if you can just leave a note in this thread... although a lot of communication is happening through e-mail as well so if you want to e-mail G or I feel free to do so ,but you don't have to.
 
I have the 17-50 but don't yet have a pl mount if you have one or can get one for the day I'll bring my lens. shoot me an e-mail and let me know otherwise I have it at a studio I work at now for safe keeping.
 
just out of curiosity, how many went last time and when did the meeting end?
 
Michhael, last time we got quite a few people, at least 20. Think of it more as a party than a meeting though. Meet people, hang out, chat, We have things set up you can do, test, and watch, and then when you feel like you need to go you are more than free to do so.

But anyway, Just a reminder

That looks like a good time. Thanks for posting the clips of the meeting. I didn't realize there was a NY Scarlet meeting, I'll definitely try to make it out to the next one.
