New V-RAPTOR w/ 5+ hours runtime. Normal?

Purchased new V-RAPTOR from on of the big chains in NYC. Has 5.4 hours on clock. Does Raptor get run in at factory? There are no other indications that camera previously used/returned.

Its standard for the the RED assembly line to power up and run the cameras for a while to get them to temp and check for any issues before heading out the door... All my cameras when sent in to RED end up with a few more hours that RED puts on them before signing off on QC... Super nice to know as far as Im concerned as nothing is worse than sending in or receiving a product that was never tested before shipping... Thank you RED..

Hi Russ, thanks for reply. I had call w/ Red support and mentioned, and the support engineer confirmed the same. He went on to say be concerned if a new unit does not show a few hours on the clock. Super nice guy, very willing to help in anyway, and Rapor is working great.

normal, although I bought a "new" alexa mini from AbelCine about 4 years ago, and it had like 15 hours on it. I thought that was sus.
