Hello Everyone, I am hoping someone could help me. I am very new to working with Red and Redcine. I have FCP for editing software. I am having problems after I have taken the RAW footage and corrected the footage. I then want to move the footage into FCP to edit it. And I have found that most of the methods I am using take a extremely long time to export it for example using Quicktime or such.

What and I doing wrong. Or best yet can anyone recommend a sight or a you tube that explains the best way to export RAW Red files into FCP.

I have to believe that is a quicker way and I just don't know the way. Right now it is take 1 to 2 hours to export 5 minutes of footage

Thank you

Gary

Hi Gary -

Don't waste time transcoding - just install the Apple Red Workflow installer and FCP X can play the footage natively.

What version of FCP are you using?

FCP 10.1.2

Red Workflow where do I find it

Sorry do not see GPU in systems

Downloading Red Workflow now and will check it out
