Super Talent shows up with a USB 3.0 enabled stick series, that are up to 320 MByte/s fast.

Another interesting development comes from Texas Instruments with their new FRAM technology, that seems to be ready for primetime.
With this they will deliver non-volatile storage at traditional RAM speeds, so imagine CF cards or similar that can transfer gigabytes/second if the host interface allows to do so.

Amazing stuff...

Cheers,

Another interesting technology that looks to be just around the corner is PCRAM or phase-change RAM. A few of the major memory manufacturers have announced they are moving into the production phase with this technology (Samsung, STMicro, Intel). It definitely looks like a great replacement for Flash, and possibly for PC memory as well.
