New SSD 512GB + 32GB

[Tony Augustinack]

512GB TURBO SSD - Data Rate almost double current media. Take advantage of Epic's higher Frame rates at a lower compression. Priced to match. A lot of Epic user's dream..

Hey Jarred,

This is a dream indeed. Any specs on the compression ratios at the higher frame rates on the new 512? Also need any Beta testers? Great to see you at NAB, reminds me of 12 months ago!

Thanks!

I'd be interested in buying a grey (slower) 256GB card for the R1...

Why are they making us wait for a price?

[Michael Lindsay]

Why are they making us wait for a price?

Because they are not 100% sure?

[roryhinds]

anyone know when the 512 is going to be available?

[Phillip Hudson]

I was going to order a few more 64 GB cards until I saw this. I think I'll wait to hear the price point and availability on those 32s first.

Okay,

with final decision of going 48fps on the 3D version of "RAPE of a BEAUTY" plus many scenes in HDRX, and ton of Slow motion... Can't wait for the announcement of "IN STOCK" of 512GB SSD pack...

Shooting it on DRAGON... Icing on the CAKE...

I'm looking forward to any new info on the 512GB card. Would love to try these at 300fps and see what compression ratios I get. Good thing is I only need one of these cards due to such a large capacity.
