New Sony RX100 MkVI

[Karim D. Ghantous]

1" sensor, 24fps RAW 20Mpx frames for almost 10 seconds, which is equivalent to 6K. 8x zoom, compact package. Sliding aperture of course.

RED could make a similar camera, no? This reminds me of the RED Scarlet a little bit.

Lots to say about this camera. The zoom range is more than the older RX100 but not as much as the RX10, which some might say is too much camera. This is the Goldilocks compact for professionals.

They've removed the internal ND and there is no way to mount an ND the camera, so virtually impossible to shoot video at 1/50 outside.
I think the IV and V are more attractive for video as this one. it is quite attractive for lightweight travel stills though.
