I wrote a letter to this company about 9 months ago suggesting that they should offer cinema optimized versions of their lenses. Looks like they took part of what I was suggesting to heart. If you like what you see you should write them a letter mentioning that we'd like to see a set of economy PL mount lenses from them. Feel free to mention my name in the email and that I had already suggested this to them, but that they ignored me until now. Here's the lens. I'd love to get a sample to try on my R1.

I though they offered all their lenses, with the motion adapted gearing, just in Canon/Nikon mounts? I like the look of the 8mm, it's got a weird distortion that's slightly different from a regular fish eye, but I have a warped view of the world.

This isn't just one of their off the shelf lenses with some Delrin gears thrown on. Later today I'll post some pics of what appears to be a full metal body. Recently they announced an aspherical 35mm 1.4 design as well (albeit not in the 'cinema' housing). The funny thing is that I gave them this idea nine months ago by email, but they never wrote back. In fact they don't write back about anything from any email address. My guess is they are testing the water with this one before they ramp up production. I'm going to try and get a shootout between this, the peleng and maybe sanjins 8-16 sigma. The fact that this was built for a
Motion application is what I was excited about since I suggested it to them.

Looks good to me! Maybe I can throw my Peleng in the trash where it belongs? Hehe...

Anyone come across prices?
