[FS: RED Gear] New Redrocket-X in Sonnet Thunderbolt2 case works with mac or pc

[Wynn Padula]

I recently bought a new redrocket-x card when I upgraded to the epic dragon and it is amazingly fast in my new Sonnet external Thunderbolt2 PCI card expansion box. Actually the box has slots for two other PCI cards that I have never used. It is also pretty compact and quiet. The problem is all of my work has been and continues to be on the shooting side and not on the post-production side, so I simply can't justify having this much invested in this gear.

If someone out there can give me a fair price I'll let these items go. They are in perfect working shape and almost new (after all they both barely came out). The redrocket card sells for $6750 and the Sonnet box sells for $1000. I will sell both together completely tax free for $6000.

I tried to put a link to a picture of them, but it doesn't seem to work right. Anyway, let me know if you have any questions. The redrocket-x card has never come out of the Sonnet box once it went inside and it works flawlessly.

This card is a steal at this price and it rents really well. I just don't need it as I've moved completely away from editing. This will be even more necessary with the higher data rates of the new RED Weapon! Save yourself several thousand dollars and buy from me, tax free, for $5500 total. This thing debayers 6K REDRAW footage at around 8K normal speed to 1080P ProRes422HQ with a new Mac Pro with Thunderbolt 2
