What is the DRX function supposed to do? I haven't been able to see any difference adjusting that.

One more here that can't get Windows 64-bit to work. Not sure what the error message is (flashes up and disappears too quickly for me to see). Running Win7 Pro 64.

I can't seem to find any support documents to tell me how to install, as the package doesn't contain any Operations Manuals, installers, or text files. Since it was mostly .dll files and a few applications, I tried opening each of the applications, but had no success. I'm not totally technically incompetent (I built my current and previous computers myself), but am not sure if my inability to install this is because I'm doing something wrong, or if there is an error with the redcine-x download.

"DRX allows you to recover potentially lost dynamic range by extending and balancing highlights, taking into account the rendering intent of the desired Kelvin and Tint white balance." (from p28 of the RedCine manual)

It's the equivalent of "Recovery" in Lightroom. But since it doesn't work with Red Rocket, I haven't used it in a while.

Ah.... I always use the rocket and it never even occurred to me to turn it off to enable those features. So in other words you make the adjustments first and then turn rocket on? thanks

You cannot render those parameters with the rocket.

It uses the one embedded inside the app now.
If you want to install it, there's an install option under help.

I thought that was it, this is nicer now.

Sounds good, Deanan. The same would apply for the "burn in" feature. Would love to bake dailies with scene, reel and take etc. Also - a "preview" button in the "burn in" window would be a great addition!

Agreed. Flexibility on burn in is also planned :)
