Looks like the new version of REDCINE-X Pro just came online with the NAB announcement website update, loving the new sleek look.

RedGamma4 is nice. I like it.

I'll have to extensively test OpenCL versus CUDA; in the CUDA beta, it was performing about 1/3 as well for me as OpenCL, but then, the OpenCL beta performed about 1/3 as well for me as the OpenCL release.

EDIT: Hmm, after initial, informal testing, OpenCL and CUDA performance on an early 2013 MBP with the NVidia 650m chip seems to be about the same. Turning a 53 second R3D clip on my SSD to a ProRes422 HQ clip also on my SSD in about 5 minutes each. Each got my processor usage up around 90% and GPU usage decently pegged as well (monitored with iStat Menu).

If this performance turns out to be The Norm across the board, then I think that's good; RCX will default to one, and no one will have to know to turn it on, or change it from one to the other. RCX just works better, faster, harder, stronger, for everyone without having to know to tweak the Preferences.
