There's a new workflow page on Red's site:
http://www.red.com/cameras/workflow

Intresting quote on page: "XML linking support from Final Cut Pro projects will be supported in the near future. This feature will create "flash to flash" pull lists of each take, which can then be brought into DI finishing systems."

And on that page it says:

"Because R3D 4K files are QuicKtime aware, RED provides the only render free offline solution for start-to-finish post production."

How exactly do you create an acceptable deliverable without rendering? Or are deliverables and their creation no longer a part of "start to finish post production?

I don't mind seeing slightly exagerrated advertising claims, but I do mind seeing statements that are simply not true.

I think the idea is that the "OFFLINE" is never rendered. Ironically any other Red workflow is probably the MOST render intensive of any in the past.
