New Red user...HELP!!

I have some Red footage on an external hard drive. I'm trying to import it into the FCP computer I'm using (6.0). I have installed the Redcode Quicktime Codec, and the Red Rocket Installer. I can access the files, but I am still not seeing any video or audio. When I click on them, all I get is a black screen. The curser moves, like it would normally when something is there, but it's just black. Could someone please help me...I'm lost! Thanks, Ken
