  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can we some of those accessories now? And one of those famous subtle hints from Jim or Jarred about the price range of some of this stuff? (Wishful thinking, I know)

Well yes, they may look great, but I was thinking about the extra room they might take up in a case. For all I know they might be designed that way to protect something or other but if they stick out a few inches just to look cool then I'd rather have the extra room in my case thank you.

In the USA only Panavision designed and made own lenses and the last time they did it with "a little help from Ernst Leitz Canada/ELCAN)".

Rehousing is not included in this count.

I mean lenses made in USA not in England, France, Germany, Japan, Canada or even Russia.

WOW on the lenses! I hope you're planning on enough quantity in the long run to justify revolutionary prices. :-)

On the accessories, you're branding and statement makes me feel like you've just downgraded the existing accessories to 'non pro' ... one of the things I was looking forward to in the Epic/Scarlet lineup was accessories that were more progressive in price than your existing one. This announcement feels more contrary to that, like you're going more the Element Technica route. Speaking of them, I'm surprised you havent just absorbed them :-)

I don't know about downgrading, but it just seems that they're going back to the original plan to me. Weren't the first proposed accessories much like the new "pro" ones?

Okay I already see my move back to Italy been delay... as I will have to work over time to get CASH... Cause I'm not going anywere without a full set of this babies and a RED body ( or two :) )
