Good Morning,

My name is Chuy and I work for an Independent Movie Company (Mantis and Moon Moving Pictures and Sound) in Toledo Ohio. Take 2!

My Boss recently purchased a Red One Mysterium X movie camera and some other equipment, that we would like to post and sell, here on this site. Following please find the break-down of what we are looking to sell, explanation of condition, and the asking price for each :

(1) 300 MM Lense - (second and third pictures) This lens is used, please disregard the box in the third picture, as it obviously is not the original container for the lens, just what we will use to ship it in. The asking price is ($1800.00).

(1) Mysterium X Card Bay - (first and fourth pictures) - Purchased new (60) days ago, and used periodically over a (45) day period, then put up for sale. The Asking price is ($350.00).

Also Please Note * Pay Pal is Accepted **

That is all for now, however, as we get what we we need from our equipment, there will surely be more to come. Again, sorry about the erroneous info provided in my original Posting! Thanks for your interest, and have a great day.

Chuy

It has NEVER been used, and includes all cartons, and packaging materials provided from the factory.
Chuy

If you are referring to the gear pictured, it has clearly been used.

....and what about the one million in cashiers check that you have made out to cash that comes to any buyer of this equipment? Maybe i jumped the gun here...but i expect you would gain REAL credibility if you gave had your contact information on YOUR profile along with the "secret" production company you represent.

That's not the 300mm in the photo.

The cards for sale are CFs not SD.

The cards is probably just a wording thing, but the lens....not even close.

Take it a little easy guys: http://mantisandmoon.com/mantisandmoonteam.php

I know there have been some real problems, but perhaps, until there is additional and/or corrected information, benefit of the doubt at this point?

with all the scams running around these days and ON this site.....it just hurts your rep if you have one post and don't even properly document what you are selling and no contact info...so i'd say nobody jumped the gun.....know before you sell/buy. This is basic nowadays. At least post your contact info Chuy, company that owns it etc....so you CAN sell it as well as AVOID any transparency or conspiracy theory issues.

Frank, I'm not questioning their legitimacy, just that the info is incorrect and will probably hurt their sale.

Someone RECENTLY---NO, make it TWO just got burned by another reduser on the sale of a lens. Was sold to two different parties and to make things worse, some folks knew this guy and/or he got a referral that he was an ok guy to work with and send $$ to. So most definitely have to watch out for others out there and point out the obvious holes.

Frank,
Thanks for giving me the benifit of the doubt, and for posting our Web site! I work in the office, and was not aware of the errors in my posting, and I certainly do apologize for any confusion, that it might have caused anyone. That certainly was not my intent, nor was decieving anyone. Again - I do apolgize.

I want to thank you all for your input, and I will find out all of the (correct) particulars for the equipment that we are selling, at which point, I will correct and repost. I thank you for your patience - as you can tell I'm completely new to this. Have a good day.

Hello!
My Boss said the lens IS an 80 MM however, that is NOT the original box (in the picture) for it. Just what we will use to ship the lens in. Sorry about that!

Hello,
Probably a dumb question, but do you know where the serial number would be located on this Lens? I don't remember seeing one at first glance, but will take another look and let you know. Thanks for your help.

Not to dispute your description, but that is the biggest 80mm lens i ever did see
