Hi guys,

I installed the new Quadro drivers for my K5200 yesterday (version 354.42) and noticed while opening a .R3D file in REDCineX it sort of freezes (not loading the file) and then my whole system kind of goes bananas.
All applications become black and unresponsive, only a reboot solves the problem.

Downgraded back to an older driver version and everything is working fine again.

If anyone experiences the same problem you better start downgrading your Quadro drivers ;)

Cheers,
Davy

Do you have a red rocket iinstalled?

Yesterday a new version for the Quadro cards was released and all of a sudden my current firmware version thought it would be funny to disable the K5200 in premiere/AE for cuda purposes which results in not being able to playback any 4k footage at all.
So, I just installed the new firmware version and the same issue as before started happening again. Once opening a .R3D file all the screens become unresponsive and black.

Getting a lil bit tired of these annoying problems..

Not using a RED Rocket btw.
