Hi.

I have been watching Red for a while now from afar, and I'm looking forward to the new products.

This is my first post. I have attempted to do some searches to see if this has been discussed, and so far I have not seen this topic.

My question is, would it be reasonable to think that Leica M glass (rangefinder stuff) could be adapted to the 2/3" mount size? The 2/3" lens mount appears to be rather small in diameter, which leads me to think that the M mount might be a fine candidate for use.

Pictured is my 40mm 1.4 next to my Nikon 50mm 1.4. As you can see, these lenses are very small.

They will be generally too long, thats your only problem

Thanks.

Is there a reference that can provide lens registration and throat figures for the various RED formats and brains?

I'd like to be able to figure the math part out myself.

Also... the FAQ for Scarlet seems to suggest that all the mounts will be available on 2/3". This image states B4 and C only.
