  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thinking of springing for the 2.26 8-core model with 8GB Ram and ATI card. How are people liking the new toys? I would be upgrading from a 2.33 Intel Core 2 Duo 3GB Macbook Pro
 
On the same subject I would love to hear from anyone about using a new MacBook Pro for editing in comparison to a Mac Pro tower. Is it practical if we use external drives and monitor? Or is it still that much slower than a desktop model.

Thanks for any advice.

I'm loving mine... will love it even more when FCS3 and Snow Leopard is released.
