I really struggle to grasp your logic. As far as I know the most information we have about next-gen Xeon came from the Apple WWDC event.
There's plenty more information out there about E5v2 than Apple has revealed. Intel has announced the roadmap for their Xeon processors with some details and they gave details on the new Thunderbolt 2 chipset. No mention of Thunderbolt and dual processors. Sure, they probably haven't released all the info and none of the info released says it can't allow Thunderbolt with multi-CPU configs, but that doesn't mean it can either, and until it's specifically said otherwise and since there's zero products on the market or even announced with that ability (i.e. motherboards designed for it) I'd guess things remain the same as other current processors and chipsets.
I sure hope I'm wrong as I'd like to see a Mac with dual Xeons and Thunderbolt. It would give us the extra lanes needed to run the GPUs at x16 instead of the x8 they're likely running at, and likely diminishing overall system performance when using 2 GPUs and all the Thunderbolt ports. There's just not enough lanes in one processor and one Thunderbolt chipset (48 total) to run 2 GPUs, 6 Thunderbolt ports, etc (at least 56 needed) all at their full potential. That alone is making me seriously look into going Hackintosh (dual CPU and skipping Thunderbolt) seems as it's much easier to build them and set them up these days than it used to. With a dual CPU computer (80 lanes) you could run 2 GPUs at x16, Rocket-X at x8 (or x16 if that's what it needs), Decklink card, SAS card, RAID card, integrated ports, etc. all at their maximum performance without running out of lanes.
