  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New hi-resolution OLED chip for EVF's

SXGA still only gives you a 720 image at 16X9. Still, I'd imagine you do get some benefit by using OLED and subpixels.

Being able to switch to super high-res B&W would also be nice.
 
There's still a lot more that goes into an EVF than just the chip. I look at my Bomb EVF and think how wonderful it would be if it were OLED and not the seizure-inducing, sequential color thing that's in there now... I'd buy an upgrade. :)
 
Sony has a high-res OLED EVF for NEX cameras. Also, played with a Nikon V1 recently, surprisingly good EVF.
