I'm not knocking at anybody - I've written TWICE that the RR system is a good value- here- I've said it the third time.Jacek, this is the 21st century and budgets are low. Sometimes you need to pull focus yourself. This finger thingy might help that. Just not sure what you are arguing about? Your saying all 2 hand grips are bad ergonomics. And this finger wheel promotes bad ergonomics, What do you suggest? I just don't get it when people knock something and don't have an equal solve for the problem. Especially being a small business owner, why would you knock another when you have never even seen it?
Im not here to argue either.. I know that this $200 part is a good thing, just not sure why you are so against it?
As for a solution- do you really want to hook up the motor, the wireless box, the cables and the finger wheel just so you can compensate poor ergonomics by holding the left grip so the camera doesn't loose the balance?
How about having a properly balanced rig that rests on your shoulder instead on your arms so all you need to balance it is the right grip- and your left hand goes on the focus ring grip. Why do you think the lens manufacturers put a rubber grip there?
Let's see:
motor, cables, power, MDR box vs your hand..... hmmmm. let me think
