Comments welcome. We're heavily into post now, adding 3D FX and such. We shot for a month on Martha's Vineyard with two Red cameras (just in case one went out) - neither did. We did have a hard drive go down, but RED recovered the footage for us (thank god).

Shooting pick ups over the weekend, my internal fans went out and my camera over heated ... we had to shoot for five minutes, ice it, and repeat. Nevertheless, it worked, and looks beautiful.

Most of the film was shot with the ultra primes ... b camera with red zoom 18-50.

very seldom do i comment on a film in progress....but gabe this looks really good.....i wish you all the best with this project

Looks great! The only thing I'd fix is the grammar in one of the captions that comes on screen.

"Evolutions next step" should read "Evolution's next step".

Otherwise, awesome work!

The images look great! :)

The film looks really terrific. I've worked with one of the actors in the film, Brian Krause, on a number of shows. Terrific actor to direct. Best of luck with your release..

Thanks for your comments ... feels so good!
We have a long way to go, but we're working hard
and we could never have made it look so good without
RED. These FX shots are going to take it all to the next level.

We need some of this for our next reel! Great work...

Congrats, seems really good!
Just one thing: aren't you giving away too much in the trailer?
It's full of story hints and unfolds many things that could get you by surprise, watching the actual movie.
Many things shown in the trailer are good enough alone to make you want to see the movie ...

Brian Krause!! (Charmed!)

You got serveral great actors, and the movie looks very interesting :)
Only thing I found a bit.. Not great was the digital effects - Or more specifically the scene were the 'things' are crawling underneath the guy's skin.

We just got our first real batch of CG FX a few hours ago. I'm SO excited! We're working hard ... and slowly making progress. I am so grateful that RED has created a platform from which someone like me ... someone of relatively modest resources ... can make something that looks this good. Everyone who sees the film comments on how good it looks ... and its thanks to RED (and I suppose our cinematographers as well).

We made this film for practically no money (I graduated with a masters in Film Directing from CalArts last May) and I think and HOPE it turns out (at least) well enough to get me another job :)

Thank you guys so much for the praise. I'll post a little update when the next step happens. Y'all ROCK!
