Congratulations Michael!

So, let me get it right:

Mitch is your customer now and, not only you have to be kind to him, but the customer is always right. Did I get it correctly?

I guess there is not such thing as a perfect job.... LOL :smilielol5:

No questions about it. You are a gentleman. I may even get away with asking you to test drive your new girlfriend Alexa when she is next in Sydney.

So, I guss, it is just that Mitch is now always right that may need a little bit of getting used to :wink5:

not sure if this has been posted yet - I am too lazy to search the entire thread

Martin,

sorry it's obsolete, I showed that before here.

But right now Michael Bravin left in Arri to "fix" Alexa and probably Randy Wedick

would tell us at mid February what's going on there with the new Leica's Mystery Primes

made by CWSonderOptic also Leica's partnership company.

But right now Michael Bravin left in Arri to "fix" Alexa

Who says it was "broken"? Maybe it is going so well that ARRI brought Mike in to help spread the word.

Mitchell is correct Sanjin

Nothing appears to be broken here (except in the service department).

I am now with ARRI because the ALEXA project is exciting, cutting edge, game changing, fun, with cool people, great technology, forward thinking, great history in the filmmaking business, mechanical design expertise, precision engineering.

That's pretty much it, in a nutshell.

I tend to know a few things about this stuff :-)

Michael,

I didn't say that ALEXA is broken except when if I'm joking...

How should I know anything about that more...!!???

Also I'm glad that you are excited, found your new tendency, fresh interest, also enjoy that and have a fun,...etc,...

But me with R1 still have a big joy in a private as a "little shape" R1 user to experience cutting edge technology, game changer, forward thinking, etc,...

...for example I'm able to get 3 dimensional feeling and almost like an anamorphic image quality with old Leica M lens on my R1 that's a mind blowing...

Strauss_02ana01.jpg

Shot 18 months ago on R1 with old Leica Summicron-M 90mm that is from 70s (Made in Canada) and now freshly color corrected with new REDCINE-X using NCS (New Color Science), FLUT,...

then using Tangent Wave grading control panel (have a gorgeous grading REDCODE (RAW) experience!!!).

Also waiting for a "call" to upgrade my R1 to M-X.

Exciting times....

Can Alexa do also something like this for me in the future?

Of course not at all and I'm pretty sure about that.

Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Beautiful shot, my friend!

It's funny. In this photo, Strauss almost looks like America's Mark Twain.

Don't hold back, Michael! Tell us what you really think!

This is the most tangential thread I've read in a while...I can't wait to see more of Alexa AND the new Primes...
