Optimator Features
Optimator Features
Optimator is a device to test camera sensor, not lenses. There will be an accessory for it that you can use to check back focus on the Optimator, and, consequently, lenses. C-mount included.
Now about the features:
The Optimator features are result of my 20+year of technical experience with professional equipment.
They are also the direct result of feedback from top level professionals at Band Pro, Panavision, Otto Nemenz, and many top DITs I have the opportunity to communicate with since I'm based in Los Angeles.
I'm passing all that expertise to Redusers now in the form of Optimator here on Reduser.net
I think all features are absolutely necessary -some are for bench testing and some for field testing. All equally important. I wouldn't put them there if they were not essential.
Now my job is to let Redusers know what they (the features) are and what they do so everyone can make an informed decision to purchase the tool that they need.
I think this is the only right aproach especially with such innovative, revolutionary device.
I hope you all agree
Best Regards
