new cf reader 16gb

Hi I just got my 16gb cards and a new cf reader to upgarde. I change the reader slot. should I do something else? because when I try to use the 16 cards, I get a massage
"the cf card is not been speed verified for use on this camera"
"recording is not possible, please use a speed verified cf card or red drive"
what is that?....

Yes it is correct, the new RED CF reader, will work with the current 8GB RED CF cards and the New 16GB RED CF cards, and the older RED CF Reader will not read the new 16GB RED CF cards.

But in order for you to be able to use the new RED CF reader and the 16GB RED CF cards you must be using Build 17 or newer, then you can use both the RED 16GB CF cards as well as the RED 8GB CF cards.

the only 16gb card that will work are from red, so you don't need to bother about 300x or kind of things.
