  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Build 16 v3.2.1

RED TEAM....AMAZING!!!

Build 16 3.2.1 ...WORKS (High,Low,No Contrast. Ran an entire mag for the last hour and a half also on a long record no problem.)
I haven't been able to break it....It feels way more stable than Build 15 at this point IMO.

Updated Quicktime ...WORKS
Updated Redcine.....WORKS
Updated RedAlert...WORKS
***NEW****Red Rushes ...AWESOME and it WORKS.

You guys are really amazing.....Thanks!

Dear Red,

I normally would be ecstatic about getting all these new upgrades and firmware but can you please stop?

I'd rather just wait a year or two and buy a whole new camera and sell my Red for less than half

..very excited.. install & update went smoothly. Doing some stress tests.. THANKS

Great work Red Team.

Sorry to post bugs. I'm manually doing offline dailies using redalert with redspace as my colorspace for a standard definition scale (720 X 576).

After jannard post, downloaded and try RedRushes. Unable to scale for Standard definition either Pal or NTSC and also unable to select scale button?
 
Gopal, try clicking at the top of the scale checkbox. It's fixed for the next version but for now just click near the top of the square.
 
sooo.. its safe to go for build 16.. safe safe? shall i go for it?

I've tested the new build and it looks fine. Even the evil tree was no match for the pixel wizards at Red.

Recorded to Red Drive; 4K, 16x9, RedCode 28, 23.98 time base, 24 & 30 fps.

Oh, the tree shot is from my little Canon point and shoot; the codec breaker was wide angle right up into the tree with very bright sky.

I need to know which version of Quicktime to install on my computer.

I'm running Redcine 3.1.2 on a Windows XP Pro 32 bit system.
