Codec Errors should be a thing of the past now... we will let you guys confirm that.

New build is up on http://www.red.com/support/

You need to install the new Software tools as well (REDCINE, RED Alert!, Quicktime Component) to work with footage from the new build.

There is also something special and new you will find when you install RED Alert!

... thanks for hanging in with us guys this last week.

REDRushes is awesome but theres a bug where it wont display the proper length of the program screen on my macbook.
it wont show past the "make subclip folders" line on the bottom.

also i have the AVID MC3.0 codecs installed but dont see it as an option. im assuming thats just a development issue and youre just getting it out there. great idea so stoked! gotta use it now to really see.

What's the vertical height of your laptop? The size of the main window is designed to fit on a MBP 15" (900 pixels high).

Avid codecs aren't functioning yet but we're working on a fix with Avid.

Umm...not so fast. Don't forget some of us are desperately waiting for shipments. :-) How about take 5 and back to work?

800! damn. its a borrowed laptop so i guess im out of luck for now. what am i missing there at the bottom 100px? is there a way to make it a dynamic scale to fit any size. oh and can you make a time machine while you're at it? :) you guys seem pretty invincible these days keep at it...

deal.

heres a snapshot of my setting for a trial run. using R3D's to make 640x480 H.264qt's just to test drive REDRushes and i get white frames for the length of my xcode? any reason i should get that and what can i do differently?

Jason, try deleting the RSX files for the clips.
Also, try rendering with the metadata option.
