New Brains = What frame rates?

If the Red one goes at 120fps in 2K mode then what speeds will the new brains go when also put into 2K(reduced K) modes?

Is it right to think that if R1 runs 30fps at 4K and 120fps in 2K then a S35 Epic that runs 100fps at 5K will at least run 400fps in 2K mode? IE 1/2 the K = 4 x the speed.

*bump* - I too would like to know what the plans for the S35 Scarlet 5k are - can I get at least 120fps @ 2k? I frankly don't care much about anything above 4k.. I'm much more interested in global shutter and high framerates past 2/4k

Also, red42 = 42 mbits?... really?

Actually its mbytes I believe. Like the current 36 redcode is not Mbits it bytes. So multiple by 8 to bits.

Please don't guess. It is much more complicated than simple math. The complexity of options is not just restricted to "window and double the frame rate". There are monitor path issues, REDCODE restrictions, etc.

Scarlet will NOT have the option flexibility of a RED ONE.
